iOS 9.2 is now out. There seems to quite a few fixes in it. As always I am not doing an over the air (OTA) upgrade but rather one connected to iTunes. As I update devices I will update this article with how well it goes. And as always I have my iTunes configured so that Cloud backups occur, but also encrypted backup when I do local backup. So as part of this update an encrypted backup occurs. Which means it catches all the passwords and workout data. See below for the release notes.
Update:
- 12/8/15 - 2115 - one iPad Air 2 updated with no issues.
- 12/8/15 – 2001 – one iPhone 6s updated with no issues.
